Eat your Greens

I love paint samples and have been collecting
them for years.  Now I have a splendid use for them.

I missed my post yesterday. It is the first time in this
endeavor that's happened.  I'm almost relieved, to
tell the truth.  I had a feeling my new job, with
its attendant hour long commute, would interfere
with my mandala time.

Ah, well.  Part of the process is being kind to
myself when I fall short of my ideal mark.

Ooh, ahhhh

Yikes! I used an image of a bathymetric map of the world as a starting point for this. I love maps.

Mandala HD

I just burned through an hour lost in the kaleidoscopic images in Mandala HD.
I love the colors in this one.

Mommy love

Another one with Annamika. My daughter made me a love note Spirodoodle and I turned it into this with Annamika. Thank you, Schmoopy.

Dig It-al

Still playing with digital mandalas. These were made with a program called Annamika. It is very artistic. It is interesting to experience the difference between digital and non-digital mandala creation. I miss the physicality of the non-digital approach.

Star gazing

So I mentioned my new job. I am teaching Earth Science.
It occurred to me that time lapse photos or orbits
might fit into my 365 project. The following are a few
examples.
Enjoy.

I used to have a job tying bows. This one was my
daughter's suggestion.

Just doodling

Another PITT pen doodle.
I started a brand new job this week and it took
all my mental and physical energy. My mandalas
have been decidedly unimaginative as a result. I hope to
hit my stride and have a bit more creative energy.
Thank you for visiting.
